1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services,
products, platforms, applications, APIs, and resources (collectively,
the "Services") provided by PsyData Labs L.L.C. ("PsyData Labs,"
"Company," "we," "us," or "our").
This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- All users, customers, and clients
- All access to and use of PsyData Labs Services
- All data processed through the Services
3. General Use Requirements
Users must:
- Use Services only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the rights, privacy, and safety of others
- Use Services in a manner consistent with this Policy
4. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use the Services to:
4.1 Illegal Activities
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Engage in fraud, identity theft, or deception
- Facilitate criminal activity
4.2 Security Violations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
- Circumvent security controls or authentication mechanisms
- Interfere with system integrity or availability
- Conduct denial-of-service or similar attacks
4.3 Data Misuse
- Upload or process data without proper authorization
- Process personal, biometric, or health data unlawfully
- Attempt to extract or reconstruct sensitive data
- Use Services to create unauthorized datasets
4.4 AI and System Misuse
- Use AI systems for harmful or manipulative purposes
- Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or replicate AI models
- Use outputs to deceive, manipulate, or harm individuals
- Use Services to generate or distribute misleading or harmful content
4.5 Psychological and Behavioral Misuse
Given the nature of PsyData Labs Services, users may not:
- Exploit psychological or behavioral insights to harm individuals
- Engage in manipulative behavioral targeting without consent
- Use Services for coercion, harassment, or exploitation
- Conduct unethical research or experimentation
4.6 Infringement
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Distribute unauthorized or infringing content
5. Sensitive Data Use
Where Services involve sensitive data, including health, biometric,
or psychological data:
- Users must have a lawful basis for processing
- Required agreements, such as a DPA or BAA, must be in place
- Data must be handled in compliance with applicable laws
6. System Integrity and Fair Use
Users must not:
- Overload or disrupt Services
- Use automated systems excessively without authorization
- Interfere with other users’ access or experience
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
PsyData Labs reserves the right to:
- Monitor usage for compliance
- Investigate potential violations
- Suspend or terminate access
- Remove or restrict content
8. Reporting Violations
Users may report violations to:
- Abuse Team: abuse@psydata.org
- Legal Team: legal@psydata.org
9. Enforcement Actions
Violations may result in:
- Warning notices
- Suspension of access
- Termination of accounts
- Legal action
10. Relationship to Other Agreements
This AUP operates in conjunction with:
- Terms of Service
- Privacy Policy
- Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
- Business Associate Agreement (BAA)
- Master Services Agreement (MSA), where applicable
11. Policy Updates
We may update this AUP at any time.
Continued usage of the Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
13. Statement of Acceptable Use
By using PsyData Labs Services, you agree to comply with this
Acceptable Use Policy.
